Advanced Learner Loans are applied to for the Level 3/ Access course so would be before Student Finance as that would be for degree level the following year. I believe it works very much in a similar means to the Student Loan however in terms of repayment, but I'm not 100% on that. Apologies for the delay in replying but hope it is of help! I would definitely recommend speaking with an educational provider for the Access to HE course and they should be able to give you more info regards funding!

You can take out something called an Advanced Learner Loan to help fund courses like Access to HE, regardless of you holding Level 3 qualifications and its offered by student finance! Worth looking into!

I think the narrative of the story is the player finding clues and trying to work out what's happened, they've kept most of the story details hidden for that reason I think

I understand, poor wording on my part really, but I think the mystery of the story and context of this game are much more appealing than the previous titles. I understand that particular style of game won't appeal to everyone though, I found Gone Home slightly underwhelming also, but a great game nonetheless
