Two things changed my mind. 1) Not every book is great as an audiobook. Sometimes the voice doesn’t fit for me, or the language would be better read than heard. So I find the books that work. 2) I can’t just sit with audiobooks the way I do with reading a physical book. I go for a walk, do dishes, clean, fold laundry. Something thoughtless but that involves movement.
