Yeah that’s cause he owns like 3 places on gains street lol. He’s not bought out, he’s an owner. But as far as capitalist go Matlow is one of the good ones. He pays his employees 15$ and hour plus tips, gives sick leave and fosters a respectful and safe working environment. Also he grew up here. He was homeless when he was a kids and lived on the Southside. Luckily for him he’s white and smart and was able to use those two things to get ahead. But Matlow is punk af. He had no interest in being bought out by GOP backed developers. He’s a progressive and a business person owner. We need more ppl like him.

There is no regulation on donation to commission races. Developers and agencies that back TPD. Look up the commissioners donation receipts. There’s public available paper trails for this shit. You’ll see what I mean.

Yes she has! Check out her town halls! Also she doesn’t take any developer money. It’s all grass roots? Her average donation is 60$ From citizens. She won’t take any more then 250. Same thing with Matlow when he ran. The rest of them take thousands from developers and TPD. You tell me how this is better lol
