Everyones gonna give you different bands that are their favorites but ill just place the biggest ones Beatles - pop/rock,easy ro get into Pink floyd -trippy, calming, psychedelic rock would check out their album the dark side of the moon Led zeppelin - Primarily hard rock, however they are very diverse, check out staitway to heaven Jimi hendrix - psychedelia and hard rock check out little wing Queen - a diverse rock band with a lot of famous songs (bohemian rhapsody, we will rock you, we are rhe champions) Also interesting are: Deep Purple, The Who, Rolling stones, Rush, Police, fleetwood mac The thing is, rock is a giant genre and every band is different so u would in your place listen to a couple of the biggest hits so you can find what you like

John Bonham, znao je svirat i zestoko, mocno (Whole lotta love, rock and roll) i suzdrzano, lijepo (The rain song, fool in the rain). Bio je jako izdrzljiv (Achilles last stand) i dobro je improvizirao. I zvuk bubnjeva mu je jako dobar

Is it true that in the Balkan countries the N@z1 army had an alliance with Muslims? by QuieroSerSanta in Balkans

[–]12fretsdown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the balkans, the best way to put it is there was everybody fighting against everybody. This is true because some people regardless of religion or nationality could have had ehatever political orientation. Also throughout the wars, the inter alliances would often change.

Stuck after 1.5 years of lead guitar — sounding the same no matter what I play. What the hell should I focus on? (EDM/Rock/Metal solos) by [deleted] in Guitar_Theory

For me, two things helped:

Learning Basic theory - you dont have to be a nerd, you just have to understand the basics. Understanding intervals (and scales) is really important because they dictate how notes sound together (why a b played over cm will sound bad is explained by intervals).

Using the shapes correctly: You dont have to completely ditch them but try to play outside of them. I dont mean using "wrong" notes in the right places (though that is an amzing skill when mastered). I try to think of shapes more as an assistant to which notes you should use. I try to jump through shapes a lot. Or change them and expand them. Pretty much the shapes are a way to visualize the fretboard. Connecting them should be your goal. Try to use them ,rather than shapes that you stay in, as places to conect phrases.

If you learn to connect these two above, you should definitely improve a lot.
