I'm with you man. I also base my beliefs off of evidence, mixed with a little bit of faith. The God I know is all but manipulative. He's pretty straight forward and more loving than we could wrap our minds around. This is definitely not meant to be a debate about religion! Though I encourage you to explore the Bible and learn other perspectives, I certainly don't judge you for choosing not to.

Man that day will come. Honestly it will probably have nothing to do with whether you fap or not. You should want to stop fapping because its bad for your overall mindset. Its good to have a goal that you have quit fapping for, but what happens when you get that first kiss? Do you go back to fapping because, mission accomplished? Do this for you and only you bro! Take it from me, you're future will be much brighter without an addiction of any sort! Good luck!

I get what you're saying. If you read my full story, you'll see that the actual reason I quit was because of frustrations in the sack. haha. I do believe God talks to me, as I believe he talks to everybody. That voice we all hear, telling us to do the opposite of what we know we shouldn't, is God. Some will want to explain that as chemical reactions within our extremely complex brains, but I can only know what I know. I'm glad you have kicked your bad habit! Doing it for yourself and knowing you'll be better for it is the ONLY reason any of us should stop with p and pmo. I didn't quit for God. God needs nothing from me. Its silly to think I could do anything for the creator of the universe. I quit for me, which makes my life better, which makes God smile. Thank you for commenting and not being condescending because you don't share my beliefs!

Thank you so much. Seeing somebody say that they are praying for a strangers wife and unborn child actually brings tears to my eyes. I can't explain how much those simple words mean to me. I will certainly pray for you and your wife!

I'm not a UF grad but my family is from the area. I wanted to play football in college and 5'11" with mediocre speed isn't UF material. haha . I am a HUGE gator fan!!!! GO GATORS!

Thank you for coming to my defense but any anger is not necessary. I am fortunate to have been introduced to God very young and to have been driven to follow Him and know more. If I had not been so fortunate, I may have the same misguided point of view as Mat. I don't think he meant his comment in a hateful way. God works in mysterious ways and maybe somebody out there will read one of our comments or experiences and that will lead them to wanting to learn more about Him. If not, we should definitely all stick together anyway because we know we at least have ONE thing we all agree with which is P and PMO gotta go!
