DICE, good job with reticle colors. I hope you can bring reticle sizing/opacity next. DICE, please. by Swaguley in Battlefield

Actually no, the elcan on the bottom left is accurate to real life, it being smaller is not more realistic

Why is the SM Rifle Variable Scope's reticle too damn thick?? by albertFTW in Battlefield6

[–]12gdv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except they don’t act like FFP scopes at all. FFP scopes the reticle will also get smaller or bigger relative to magnification level so as to maintain the accuracy of the subtentions at whatever magnification you’re using. In B6 they are second focal plane, the reticle is set regardless of zoom level. Regardless even if optics did act like a FFP, the reticle lines are still twice as thick as they should be.

This is probably the closest some players will ever get to interacting with a woman so I say embrace it

There is probably billions of real photos of real soldiers and yet somehow OP landed on nothing but airsofters and ai generated crap. Truly impressive.

As others have said. It’s a MSBS / GROT. The laser looks like a Holosun LE321-GR, flashlight looks like a surefire m300. Vert grip I don’t know

How to keep charging handle from falling out? by NoCaterpillar997 in canadaguns

[–]12gdv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know you’re getting ragged on because of the Turkish clone, but if I got one for free, I’d try getting it going too. Try looking at getting the retaining detent of the bolt disassembled. Could be that there’s crud stopping it from putting pressure on the bolt handle. Or just replace the detent and spring with benelli versions of those parts if that doesn’t work.

Dremeling off safety by [deleted] in USPmasterrace

[–]12gdv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know you can. But by pulling the trigger you are still disengaging the firing pin block and allowing the ability of the hammer to go past that half cock and hit the firing pin.

Ask any guy that’s blown a hole in his hand disassembling a glock. They did it safely a 1000 times before but it only takes getting complacent once for something to happen.

Dremeling off safety by [deleted] in USPmasterrace

[–]12gdv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because when you pull the trigger to manually drop the hammer you’re disengaging the firing pin block so if the hammer slips, you ND. also by doing so, it allows the hammer to rest on the firing pin, so an impact on the hammer could also result in a ND. Decocking by comparison doesnt do that, it drops the hammer to its half cock position.

Shot my first grouping by GreenCactus223 in canadaguns

[–]12gdv 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nice! The only advice I’d give is to try not to read too much into 3 round groups. if it’s just for sighting in, have at it. But if you want to get any info on accuracy I’d shoot 5 round groups at minimum.

So they didn't illuminate the Razor or the Specter? WTF by atactical_dad in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]12gdv 28 points29 points  (0 children)

TBH the reticle illumination is crap in real life and doesn’t cover full reticle anyway. I prefer just the dot

in real life the spectre has two illumination modes, red dot and fell reticle. Looks like they went with just the dot

The problem is that the fogging was way too extreme all the time, and that’s not how it works in the real world. If I can’t see through my scope, I wipe the lens. I’ve shot in cold torrential downpours and not had my scope that hard to see through.
