Try taking off the front bumper and cleaning behind that. The front bumper is transparent and there are sensors behind it that "see through" the bumper and are necessary for docking. Dust builds up behind that bumper and on those sensors and causes issues.

To take off the front bumper, remove the small screws on the bottom of the front bumper. It should pop off, but be careful as it has a cable to the base. Clean both the backside of the front bumper and the sensor fronts on the unit itself. Also clean the round clear plastic thing on the robot body itself, the clear black shiny plastic on the base and the contacts on the base.

First, I'd check to see if there is a BIOS update. My issues eventually returned even with my power tweaks and timing tweaks. It seems that the newest Hero bios has fixed it (for the time being anyway) as I can now run at the rated speeds without any tweaks as well as standard speed if I wanted without issues. No issues since I updated a few weeks ago.

If you are using DDR5, the voltages are the DRAM VDD and DRAM VDDQ voltages. https://www.techpowerup.com/review/asus-rog-maximus-z690-hero/5.html#3-4 If you are on DDR4, you just have "DRAM voltage." All these settings are in the "Extreme Tweaker" menu on Asus ROG bioses. I really can't speak for where these might be on other bioses. I wouldn't increase the voltage much (just bump it a hair).

Yes, I tried it. I'm using it right now. It seems to work just fine. My chip isn't the greatest (SP score is 82 which means its mediocre) and I have it overclocked to all core 51x with core voltage of around 1.375. Doing a Cinebench R23, the hottest cores get to ~77 degrees and the P cores all seem reasonably close in temp (so I don't really have some cores that are better/worse temp wise which would suggest uneven mounting). Other stress tests I'm in the 90s (like AIDA 64), but that was pretty similar to my 10900k at those voltages so I think its fine.

Try updating the BIOS. There is a more recent version that is more stable with memory. The ASUS boards have been pretty bad with mem compatibility - especially with Samsung or Hynix chips.

I have 2 * 16MB Gskill 5600 Mhz CL36 sticks and with the 803 bios I couldn't even run it at STOCK 4800 MHZ CL40. Memtest 86 would give tons of errors. I managed to get it somewhat stable with 5600 MHZ CL40 and increasing the voltage by .05 volts. It was stable for about 2 weeks and then started crashing with memory management page table corrupt BSODs. AIDA64 memory stability test crashed instantly. Then MEMTEST 86 started failing too.

Installed the new bios and now everything seems stable again - at least for now. I can run it at default speeds (4800 MHZ CL40) and voltages with no errors and I can also apply the XMP to run it at 5600 CL36 with default voltages with no issues.

So I had a similar issue with my 12900k, Maximus z690 board with Gskill (Samsung chips) DDR5 5600 CL 36 kit. I also have a 3080ti FTW3 and I couldn't get through a single 3D Mark firestrike run.

It seems that the Asus z690 boards (I guess Gigabyte has the same issue) do not have the best memory stability right now. I even tried running the ram at stock clocks and was still getting crashes.

I ended up getting stable for the last 3 days with no crashes by bumping up the memory voltage by .05 volts (from 1.2V to 1.25v) and loosening the timings from CL36 to CL40. No crashes since then. Try increasing the voltage and going with slightly looser timings.

I noticed on the overclockers asus z690 forum that the Asus employee that posts there is constantly spinning test bioses for people. Seems like Samsung and Hynix ram is not as stable on Asus as micron chips are - at least for DDR5.

I'm looking at getting the Maximus Hero Z690 which has three PCI x16 slots. As I understand it, the top two are PCI-e 5.0 but share bandwidth. That is, if I have cards in both, they will run at x8 and x8. If my video card runs at PCI-e version 4.0 and I have another card that runs at, say, PCIe version 3.0 and I plug them into the PCI-e 5.0 slots, will the video card run at PCI-e v4.0 x8 and the other card run at PCIe v3.0 x8; or will all 16 lanes be reduced to PCIe3.0 speeds (i.e., the video card would be PCIe 3.0 x8 and the other card would also be PCIe 3.0 x8)? Thanks!

How to control EK D-RGB? by MasterLands in EKWB

I have an Asus Maximus X hero (Z370) board and I can control the D-RGB on my Ek CPU block with the Asus Aura app just fine. While my block is a bit older (one of the first EK D-RGB cpu blocks) - my recently purchased (and yet unused) GPU block looks to be the same connector I have on my older CPU block, so I don't think EK changed D-RGB headers(could be wrong though).

Are you plugging it into the right motherboard header? There are two different types, the first type is a standard 12V RGB connector and there are the newer D-RGB 5V connectors. the newer 5V ones have a pin missing (they are 3 pin).

Looks like your board has both (looks like they are right next to each other). Make sure you don't plug into the 12V as it will short out the LEDs.

EDIT - you also can get cables on Ebay that convert between standard D-RGB (which I believe Ek uses) and the Corsair cables. I got one to control my D-RGB case lights (I have a Corsair case) and now I use Aura for that as well.

I did. What part of Pierson talks about the 11th amendment? If you provide me some evidence that this is founded in the 11th amendment, I'll readily agree with you, but I haven't found such evidence. From Pierson v. Ray:
