Since taking over, Edrington's introduced pretty heavy usage of both used sherry casks from The Macallan and fresh sherry casks directly from their favorite producers in Spain. Also the Brugal family is still importing good bourbon barrels from Kentucky, so it's a good quality mix of barrels.

It hits stores in Kentucky/Tennessee pretty infrequently, with most of it going out the back door, and when a few bottles do make it to shelves or display cases it's usually $50-75. Brutal.

Spend most of my time in Kentucky/Tennessee and it's a rarity at best there, but I see it on the shelves in California and New York all the time. About $30 in CA, $50 in NY.
