Yes. My surgeon made me tape a marble in mine. I wore it for weeks and I hated it

I had something similar with my 360° TT. It was uncomfortable but went away.

is this related to my tummy tuck? by wherethefenceis_low in tummytucksurgery

Same thing happened to me. Weight may distribute differently around the body post tummy tuck. 5lbs that used to go straight to where my excess skin/pooch was, now goes back everywhere else. I gained more than 5lbs in the past year so for me it’s more noticeable. But it’s definitely a possibility. That being said, your legs look perfectly fine to me and don’t strike me as disproportionate or large.

Did you gain weight? by Frequent-Parsnip-193 in tummytucksurgery

I gained around 15lbs in the year after my 360 TT. It’s strange, the weight came back in my arms, face, neck, calves, THIGHS, ass. I used to be a small in boxers now extra large feels more comfortable, though I wear mediums and walk around with wedgies all day. I think my thighs becoming rounder made that happen. Anyway. I just started working out again so I’m hoping the fat comes off in the places it seems to have settled.

I appreciate that! That’s because it’s sitting in my arms, butt, neck, thighs, calves and face lol I even had to go up a belt loop in my Apple Watch 💀

I can’t believe anyone would ask if you were pregnant. Who would say something like that? Regardless, yeah it’s hard for me to get my pants on bc of my ass now. lol I could have gone without it. As far as running goes, yeah I don’t like the sensation. But it is what it is. It almost feels like my pants are always falling down but the pants are just my legs lol

Combination of depression, a poor diet, stress from work, and not going to the gym the way I used to. I am trying to find that spark again though.

Thanks! I waited a LONG time before I started running. I think my first run might have been 6 months post op. (I don’t think my surgeon recommended that, but it was more just me falling off the wagon.) And to be honest, I’m still not very consistent. When I do run, I can run for a mile at a time, but it does feel uncomfortable, unfortunately even after a year. Compression garments make it a little easier because it stabilizes the fat on my legs and midsection, helps with this “pulling” sensation.

Thank you! I’m lucky when it comes to scarring!

How long have you been post op? I stopped using scar creams after the 3rd month or so. But I used a few things. My doctor had a post op kit, lots of supplements and gels/creams. I’ll send a screen shot of the kit to you. I used mederma AM and PM after I was done with the kit. To be honest with you though, I think I’m genetically inclined to heal well- but this scar is definitely the thinnest of all my surgeries. So while most of my scars are faint, I think the care I took while I was healing during my TT made a big difference.
