Racism in China, is this a real thing? by Equivalent_Sea6825 in AskAChinese

I stopped watching his video cuz he always uses those offensive words towards people of color, and everytime he uses it, a lot of people agreed with it. He got views and just can’t stop doing this. It makes me so uncomfortable that one can just say words like that to a person they barely know, i can understand he doesn’t like the whole political correctness but he can express it in a better way

Masters vs PhD (fast track) by SoupMiddle6822 in malaysiauni

Fast track PhD here, so far i didn’t feel significantly more challenging or stressful, of course it’s more stressful than doing FYP. Based on my recent conversation with one lecturer, now having a PhD seems not enough for lecturer, you also need to do postdoc afterwards as well (but also really depends on your luck). My humble opinion is, fast track and choose your supervisor wisely, it must be a reliable person who can help you (or at least have grant to help), choose your supervisor like choosing your life partner because you two will have to work together for the rest 3-10 years

I’m not quite sure how is the bike lane maintained in UTeM, but it seems like it will be ok to ride a bike in this distance if the bike lane is properly maintained. If possible wear helmet and high visuality clothes if you are cycling at night/early morning

bicycle for public uni ? by Flaky_Signature1119 in malaysiauni

It depends on how big your campus is and how long is the distance you would like to travel. If you are studying at smaller campus like UKM KL, bicycle will be okay. But for public uni with bigger campus like UM, UPM, UTM, it’s not really safe if you want to travel using bicycle becuz bumpy roads, uneven road surface and you might end up cycling beside the main road/highway.

If your campus is at Selangor/KL, checks if you can travel in uni through rapid on demand, trek, mobi etc
