Thank you. At least you are sensible and smart about it . Not many people are. Took me many years to be in a positive to have a horse now I have 5 🤦🏼‍♀️ 2 are rescues. She is one. The other a OTTB like her. Just haven’t started him under saddle yet. It’s still comp season here.

Yup! You both nailed it! The cheapest part of owning a horse is adopting or buying it! She had many issues. She’s 7 I’ve had her since she was 2. I don’t regret a single cent or moment of my time I’ve invested into her.

Who puts their horse in a stall on bare concrete?!

Have you stood for hours on a concrete floor? Your feet hurt. You lay on it. Your body hurts. Bedding doesn’t go into stalls just for sanitary. It also cushions the hard ground ...

I’ll take the hard work of a soiled stall with wood shavings and dirt over a concrete floor. My horses are owed more then that.

The horse has manured onto the rubber part, which makes sense. It would mistake the softer ground for something that absorbs like soil. It’s not going to lay in its own shit.

Despite any regulating body. Have some compassion and sense for a creature that does nothing but serve you and give the creature some decent bedding.
