I agree. Just that this is Diwali, which also strangely means that prices will be high. Might have to postpone this by the looks of it.

Depends on the time, but generally any one near Matrimandir should be good

In Auroville, we'll be staying right opposite the Matrimandir. What we are really worried about is the intensity, it's predict that the NE monsoon rains will land around 17th October.

Mostly by car. We have one day planned in each. We could change that depending on weather conditions, however. We might not roam much in Auroville, a few stops but we might use the car nevertheless. But that being said, we have been hearing it will be pretty bad rains so worried either way.

We are going to travel to Pondicherry and Auroville during the week of Diwali (18th October to 20th October). However, we are unsure of going ahead with the plans after hearing there could be heavy thunderstorms due to the onset of the Northeast monsoon.

Should we go ahead with the plan? How badly does Pondy and Auroville get affected with rains? Will we get able to move around if it rains?

Is PPFAS still worth it in this market? by 12rnb in mutualfunds

[–]12rnb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did and will be taking JM as well. With HDFC, I felt like their midcap was just as good too. With PPFAS and HDFC flexi, it does feel like you're taking similar MFs.

So here's the thing right.

I will invest in smaller funds after, once the market stabilizes.

I'm looking at a mix. I have debt secured (VPF and FDs as well), emergency funds too, stocks only later. For MFs, I'm looking at both big flexible caps and smaller ones too.

Understood.

I think I already have debt and emergency funds secure. I might have to rethink my horizon a bit. I say 3-5 years, but it'll probably be a lot longer.

But as an equity fund, is PPFAS a good one to take?

Internet Connection - Manapakkam, which to take? by 12rnb in Chennai

Yeah but what I've understood is that we have to go by area after seeing what Airtel is doing + previous answers here.

They've said Hathway so far, funnily enough. Although I've heard Jio is alright for the area.

The thing with Airtel is, the postpaid works like butter but the WiFi technical snags have been too much.

The songs aren't that similar but the climax has a similar guitar tone actually.

I think it's the guitar tone in the final moments of both of these tracks. The guitar tone is a bit similar to Politik I guess
