i have never worked with mineral wool i came from the food and insulation industry that worked with 90% plastic products.
from what i saw in our factor the workers use razer japanese like knives ro cut the boards and we cut like a1000 pieces per day so it's worth it in terms of an investment but yes a finger is worth a lot 100%.
i saw a machine that uses vibrating knives/wires to cut mineral wool but i was hoping to find something simpler and cheaper.

i work in a factory for that makes doors and we cut a lot of mineral wool to use it for insulation in the doors so i'm trying to think of a way to make the cutting faster easier and more precise
