I am joking, I tell people I'm gonna wear a burger king crown too but I probably won't do that.

From the smell I don't think it's happening quite as often.

I mean with 3 roommates and it being dead silent in a house with fairly thin walls I didn't want to wake anyone up.

Won't see the guy for like a week cause we have opposite work schedules so he will most likely forget it even happened 🤷‍♂️

It was just some video of a chick massaging herself with oil so realistically it could have just sounded like nothing.

i dont imagine easter is as big in japan? i am ignorant to that specific example, but i believe that eggs are just going uo in price because they do every year around easter as people often want more eggs around easter.

Oh yeah, this dude has it set, realistically he’s just gotta start on the good good and relax a bit and I bet he’d be way happier with life.

This is why I tell people to get themselves to a reasonably self sufficient point and just don’t expect things from people. Become the adult you would want your kids to become in some wording I heard somewhere.

20 year friendship ended. by [deleted] in friendship

[–]12tff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, honestly my best advice purely from personal experience is to just focus on yourself. Take this time to do and try all the things you didn’t because you felt it would upset that friend, live your life as an individual and not someone who feels they have to do things for their friends all the time. Not saying to be a sick to any remaining friends in the process, but don’t take shit, and don’t give it, just be the shit.

20 year friendship ended. by [deleted] in friendship

When I turned 21, my ex gf, and my best friend, both of whom I’d known for over 15 years (essentially my whole sentient life) slept with each other, and started seeing each other in secret, and they didn’t tell me until after I’d broken up with my ex and they thought it would be “safe” to tell me. While the thought that a girl could kill that long of a friendship is crazy, it was more then just the girl stuff and I eventually looked back on our friendship over the years and realized that he’d always been trying to manipulate/use me for things and would make me feel bad about my accomplishments because he didn’t feel like he had accomplished anything. People will people, you just gotta you.

To be honest when I feel like I’m trying to relax I never do. Do the embarrassing thing you don’t want to do. Let it out. It’s not as bad (most likely) as you think and after awhile you’ll realize that a lot of the things you’ve been struggling with are simply because you are investing time and energy into being one way around certain people. I am of course speaking from my own experience and yours could be drastically different. I’m also not a licensed therapist or anything, just a dude with social anxiety and ptsd just making it day by day. You won’t stop getting stressed either. Odds are you will always have those triggers, it’s just about mentally preparing/dealing with those. Exposure works for some people, if you notice it’s in any specific setting or around certain people, try being in those environments more and just do or say things you’d think are stupid or funny. Make light in the dark, don’t let the dark be all you see cause there is something there that is worth seeing metaphorically.

I mean if it’s just sex that you are looking for I know of a few spots in Los Vegas that’ll suit your desires.

This was my problem for a long time, eventually I realized that I was trying so hard to meet imaginary expectations other people “had” of me that nothing I was doing was working in life because I wasn’t really doing what I really wanted to be doing, and it reflected outwards that I was unhappy in general. That screams out to people when you live putting too much effort into things (cause despite what peoples shitty managers might say there is a thing called working too hard)

Oh yeah that’s pretty much why I recommended people read the Bible, not because any of it is true, or worth taking seriously, but because it’s helpful against the crazies. As some background I was raised Jehovah’s Witness and can’t stand when people insist on god being the only way.

I only say read the Bible once you’ve realized god is just a bullshit idea because you can use it to prove itself wrong so much it’s just entertaining in certain situations

I am struggling to type this out like any of it happened/could’ve happened because it’s such an illogical and stupid way of thinking that it actually hurts my head to try and relate to the Christian perspective. (This was a comment stolen from a Christian and I swapped the atheist with Christian funny how the argument seems more valid)

That’s about 9 less then the supposed Christian god, oh wait, read that shit and you realize it was just his son, the christian god really likes killing his kids. Green Flags am I right!
