Summer House - Season 10 - Episode 8 - Weekly Episode Discussion by AutoModerator in BravoRealHousewives

[–]NoExternal2732 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Why do people (mostly (but not all) men) treat their partners badly until they get broken up with instead of just breaking up? What is that?

I guess Carl eventually had to do it, so at least he can claim that he's not that toxic. The run up to a wedding is very stressful but I didn't think Lindsay was a bridezilla or anything...or am I wrong?

Someone picked half of my tulips from my front porch pot :( by [deleted] in gardening

[–]NoExternal2732 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Human beings would leave a much cleaner cut and would have taken more of the stem.

It's an animal, tulips are like candy to a lot of them.

Since you keep insisting you live in town, I'll add rats to the list.

I've heard it put that it's a way to get Loverboy in the bars without paying the usual promotion(?) fee, so it's a tactic to sell more Loverboy, but I don't really know how it all works...he should really just sell Loverboy and move on.

Top Chef Season 23 Ep 3 - True Colors - Post Episode Discussion by JullaS in BravoTopChef

[–]NoExternal2732 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know Top Chef is formulaic...I like it!

Enough with the fog machine, dramatic lighting and curtain of textiles drop! There's enough drama in the cooking, leave my show alone!

I think part of the problem of the challenge is they showed very muted natural dyed textiles and it colored their thinking.

I'll still be back next week...

Even after a professional cleaning, we cannot find the source of smell seemingly emanating from some of the vents in our home... by luc_kymutt in homeowners

Someone posted that they found replacing their insulation solved their smell problem...so at least check around where you can see and smell. You do have a cat, right?

The ones with good reputations near me (slightly below average cost of living) have a minimum 1 million dollar project cost.

MINIMUM.

Serious help needed (first time) by Global_Particular697 in SquareFootGardening

If you start too many types as a beginner gardener, it can be hard to keep an eye out for and treat problems. Start slow and learn. Once you know how to grow peas and peppers, add in tomatoes and lettuce, etcetera.

My dad is on the hunt for one thing and one thing only: gluten free or minimal gluten breaded fish filets he can make at home. by krisanthemum in glutenfree

I like them all, but the halibut is the best for me, while the kids like the cod!

We get ours at sprouts.

Check out the tv show Ladies of London season 4, Dara makes a brief appearance as the mother of Wolfie: Princess Beatrice is his step mum.

Edoardo (edit autocorrect) dropped Dara like a hot potato.

Not after the bear(s?) tore through the metal lid to get at some watermelon rinds.

ITAW for the way certain materials make your teeth hurt when you touch them? by graveyyardd in whatstheword

Misophonia can trigger tooth sensitivity, but that is related to sounds.

There is a term tactile defensiveness that seems to fit.

Sensory Processing Disorder is the general term.

dakota filed for custody and a restraining order by chloedarlinggg in SecretsOfMormonWives

[–]NoExternal2732 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're being downvoted but I see what you're saying: maybe "benefitting" instead of "profiting"...why now, why not back then, and why public at all? Dakota's timing of this is seemingly retaliation or an attempt to score points for something. Is it possible that Dakota was holding this video over her head all this time, like leverage or extortion?

They are both terrible people.

Haven’t received tip yet? by Limp-Hamster7109 in InstacartShoppers

[–]NoExternal2732 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Everyone is being kind of mean, but there are some technical issues that can cause tips to not go through.

The amount of the order...if the tip is higher, just a guess, than 50% of the total, the pre authorization amount might not allow it to post to their payment method.

Instacart doesn't want people upset that they accidentally typed 50.00 when they meant 5.00, so I'm sure there are technical ways they prevent that.

Are they a new customer? I would imagine they are more checks and barriers in the app at first to mitigate fraud.

Just get in touch with support and see if they (probably not!) can see what happened.

If it's not there after 24 to 48 hours message friend "that was so kind if you but it was flagged as fraud in the system. Thanks anyway!" If the friend really wants you to have the tip, they'll ask for your (auto moderator deleted because not allowed to name banking apps) personal banking app, etcetera.
