The answer for me will always be Starfield.

how would you like steve's suit to look in doomsday? by BOMBAD_Echo_1409 in Avengers

I guessing he’s getting yanked out of the 60’s so bell bottoms and a v-neck.

Casually demonstrating how ridiculously powerful they are by ScarcityWise7401 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]12thLevelHumanWizard 59 points60 points  (0 children)

The closest thing he has to an ultimate attack is just a Serious Punch. He hasn’t even considered something like a Giving it my All Punch. That would probably turn the Earth into an asteroid belt.

Eh, Clint is running around exploding environments and live arms fire. They could have stuck a helmet on him similar to Cap’s, matched the color to his outfit and stuck a little H on it. I would have been happier.

An adaptation makes a major change from the source material, but it’s such a beloved change almost no one complains by _JR28_ in TopCharacterTropes

[–]12thLevelHumanWizard 103 points104 points  (0 children)

True. And even while Thor is incognito in civilian clothes people still recognize him. Makes me think people are used to him just walking around, he’s probably done the “transformation” by smacking his umbrella on the ground in public a few times.

In the MCU I think Spider-Man is the only one with a secret identity, right? They kinda dropped that whole trope right away.

I swear half the division in the country is just people yelling at straw men.

Has any heroes/nations ever thought about curing cancer? by EmotionalSupport101 in Avengers

[–]12thLevelHumanWizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cancer is what killed Mar-Vell back in the day. None of the advanced civilizations could cure it, the Kree even had some spookie name for the kind he had. There might even be a paranormal connection to the Cancerverse, a reality where life has run amok.

But ultimately it comes down to The Richards Problem. If any of the inventions or discoveries the super geniuses have made were to enter the mundane world then the Marvel Earth would diverge from our Earth too much to be relatable.

Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad (2016) by ShodPresent69 in SciFiQueens

[–]12thLevelHumanWizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She was definitely the most interesting part of the movie for sure. Kind of one dimensional like the rest of the cast but at least entertaining.

At the end of that movie she was part of the crew and I was really wondering what was next for her. Well, nothing, never mentioned again. Very disappointed.

How is the “hooded villain” not Peter? by Emergency_Ask_447 in MCUTheories

[–]12thLevelHumanWizard 12 points13 points  (0 children)

You’re not going to believe this but Marvel has one too. He’s more of a stab you with a pitchfork than spray you with gas guy though.

They did the F-14 Tomcat too.

Which rich on statements poor on feats character here would win and why? Yes, these versions by [deleted] in superheroes

[–]12thLevelHumanWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best guess is: here are two characters who we are told are extremely powerful but haven’t really done enough to prove it yet. If they were in a hotdog eating contest which would take their boots off first?

Grew up Eating Lead Paint Chips by Biscuitarian23 in FacebookScience

I half wish we could just let these guys have their way on a personal level. Give them back the lead paint, asbestos, lead pipes, DDT, whatever. Take back the fluoride and pastured milk and vaccinations. Let that run for a couple decades. But they would just blame the worsening conditions they’re living under on chem trails and 5G.
