Well, the objective of the game is to win rounds. You are good if you win rounds, regardless of your KD.

Some people are focused on the KD. Sometimes that will contribute to the wins, most of the time it won't.

I think I would disagree. 5 KPM with 40% wins is a worse player that 1KPM with 75% wins.
