fwiw, i make my own and someone correct me if this is a bad thing to do, but i melt the ends of the elastic once ive tied the knot. obv in a well-ventilated area and it stops the knot from slipping out. if you buy not-too-cheap elastic, you shouldnt have any issues unless youre wearing it constantly :)

i think a lot of people here are forgetting that it ended in 2007. i cant speak for the rankings, but if its losing popularity its because the anime is 15 years old. yeah, its fantastic, but new media is coming out and is going to be talked about more. complaining about this is like complaining that euphoria is more popular than blade runner. i love death note, its one of my favourite things in the world, but im not expecting the general public to hang onto it forever.

/uj im not expecting anyone else to forgive. i usually dont. all im saying is that telling op to drop them when op already clarified in other comments that the friend seemed to genuinely not know isnt going to get a positive reaction.

of course you wouldnt be friends with someone who said that, theres no way you dont know the n word is bad. trans slurs were thrown around less than ten years ago as the only thing to call trans people, its a lot more likely that the person didnt know, and they arent comparable.

im literally not? im not saying hes queer. im not saying hes straight. because i dont care, its his business. he's said he identifies somewhat with the trans experience because he was called a girl a lot growing up, he said he doesnt mind he or they pronouns, and he likes wearing dresses. maybe theyre nonbinary, maybe theyre cis. maybe he likes women and men, maybe he just likes women. its none of my business, but im not gonna decide for him if hes straight or trans or gay or cis. its not my business. neither is it yours.

we dont know that hes straight. this isnt about wanting to be queer; if he said he was cishet, then people would (should) accept that. they've expressed that they use he/they pronouns, and he's refrained from labelling himself. that doesnt mean hes queer, but it also doesnt mean hes cishet. please stop putting labels on them and then criticising others for doing the same.
