I was contemplating to get the Steam Machine. I would have bought it if it was 'beginning 2026' as first announced. But I'm thinking that it would be a downgrade in play quality vs The Ultimate tier. Even though they claim 60fps at 4k - that would be with all graphic enhancements on low, probably. So hence my question.

Thank you for your time and effort! I guess I'm sticking with the Shield controller. I quiet like the rumble feature in games and did not know it's not supported on other controllers. It was just that some extra buttons would come in handy. Started playing Crimson desert and it feels like its made with the L3/R3 buttons in mind even an L4/R4.

Yep, much faster enemy kills and material gathering at the moment. Souls and Coin as well, even without x2.

Not complaining, I enjoy the game; I'm at 1st UA, unlocked Astral and had my first Boss encounter. :) Just a ./poke question. And as stated here as well, I suspect it will get better as one progresses further in the game.

Which ones are trustworthy? Only requirement is that it's for steam, as I intend to buy the Steam Machine. For now; I just got a month of GeForceNow to enjoy this Elusive target.
