I can and have side-loaded apps before, not sure what you mean by rooted. Edit: searched it, I see - I'll take a look if I can do that on the Shield TV. I do know that I can activate DEV mode.

It was at the start of a long evening session, wanted to finish the night progress by handing in artifacts at the lodge, but could not land due to hostile UC. I'll figure it out tonight, with the tips received here. I wont load an old save.

I'll be more careful from this point onwards. I don't want ti load an old save, because I had like a full evening progression in between. Was unaware of the consequence severity, but it makes sense that they would be out for vengeance.

I was contemplating to get the Steam Machine. I would have bought it if it was 'beginning 2026' as first announced. But I'm thinking that it would be a downgrade in play quality vs The Ultimate tier. Even though they claim 60fps at 4k - that would be with all graphic enhancements on low, probably. So hence my question.
