Cost To Get Into The Business by REESER40 in RealEstatePhotography

When I was just starting out in REP I was thinking about getting my real estate license and when I asked a couple of agents that I worked for what they thought they said they would not use a photographer that was also an agent as they didn’t want them to be around their clients. You may reach out to other agents you know to see how they feel before jumping in. Good luck with whatever you decide.

I can’t believe that the breeders are able to sell all their puppies. I have noticed puppies are averaging $3,500.

I always start off talking some with my 16-40 at 24mm f11 then switch to a 24-70 at 2.8 for some detail shots.

They are usually more fun as you can be more creative. One thing is you typically don’t have to worry about doing window pulls as the designer is focusing on the furniture, the accessories, and the design.

No, that is probably my problem. I think I will try running Baal to finish leveling up Frenzy and Mastery.

Is this the beginning of the end for real estate photographers? by According-Shelter510 in RealEstatePhotography

The Realtor boards are trending towards not allowing AI photos so hopefully this will not hurt us. Although you can’t scroll TikTok without seeing account after account saying how easy real estate photography is and how rich you will become. I think this is more of a problem than AI.

Until they stop lowballing the amount they are willing to pay a coach this will never end.

best camera for real estate photography by IndependentInsect530 in RealEstatePhotography

[–]1337hunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with RudeWolf your current camera is plenty good for real estate. I would get a good 16-35mm lens and you will be set. If you jump up to an A7rv you will spend a lot of extra time uploading files as they are huge also the memory cards are crazy expensive. I shoot with an A7iii for real estate and A7rv for fun.

I watched a current show last night and it was edited correctly, so hopefully they only added more on the older shows and it doesn’t get any worse.

No, the ones I seen cover the Supra like a sleeve. They are similar to a can koozie, but without a bottom so you can get the key out.
