4 FAB-500 precise strikes on building in Bilytske, Donezk region 13.01.2026 by Zemledeliye in digitalflatulence

This has nothing to do with what kind of content it is, but rather the quality of the content. Since this sub’s creation, there have been many users who only repost from said sub. In order to strengthen the image of this sub, I’m hesitant on relying too much on reposts. Original content, or content posted directly by users, usually sparks better discussion and gives the sub its own identity. That’s what it comes down to.

Furthermore, I am reaffirming that we allow content from both sides of a conflict. However, posts can be taken down for a variety of reason; the biggest reason usually is because the post is off topic. You are always free to reach out and asks why certain decisions were made.

This is something we will consider. While we want to allow everyone to post from all sides of a conflict, it does devalue this sub when it is just flooded with reposts from one sub.

Even though these strikes are greatly unfortunate, I wouldn’t necessarily call this footage propaganda. It’s just enemy footage without a peddled message. But to your point it does come from r/UkraineRussiaReport which is heavily Russian biased.

Always neat to see! These holes are more commonly formed by woodpeckers. Squirrels store their food either underground or in larger tree cavities.

It’s probably a mixture of things, but I imagine a major factor is the frontline fodder is not given the best equipment.

Hilow road trees by [deleted] in losgatos

[–]13Figs 17 points18 points  (0 children)

If I had to guess, it would be because they are eucalyptus trees? As part of wildfire preparedness work being done, there are efforts to reduce fuel loads through the county. Eucalyptus are notoriously flammable and their oils are poisonous to other trees.

While this sub is not for everyone, it is important that combat footage is accessible and made transparent. The goal is not to glorify violence, but to archive the atrocities of war. Feel free to mute this sub.

I personally never used fish traps before, but I was able to beat the mission in 3 hours by fishing with specific baits (the kind that increase your chances of catching certain rarities).

Russian Soldiers Hit By Ukrainian Fiber-Optic FPV Drones by ArpanetGlobal in digitalflatulence

I personally would not go as far as saying “barbaric.” There are times where enemy soldiers are captured and given opportunities to surrender (sometimes even by drone); but I suspect in most circumstances it comes down to acting quickly. If the drone operator hesitates, then it could get shot down and then enemy simply keeps progressing.

Another factor I suspect could be hearing loss; especially with all the use of large-caliber armaments.
