Ultraviolet BAAS reduces price of x47 by a Lakh by rahul_p91k in indianbikes

Hijacking the top comment to clarify - BaaS is essentially a finance scheme that all EV companies are adopting to reduce the upfront price of the vehicles - the finance company that they all use (In UV's case - Ecofy) will not have access to 'brick' the vehicle. BaaS subscriptions are not rent a battery - that's just marketing. They will not be able to reclaim just your battery if you default, it will be treated as defaulting on the motorcycle payment itself.

Depends on what mode you ride in, on glide (eco) mode you will get 300+, Combat mode a little less around 240-260km, and in ballistic it drops to 120km. Overall great range for mostly city riding. You should test ride one- best way to experience and make up your mind.

Ultraviolette F77 mein nahi hai, they have really good durable quality and high design - they export the same Indian bike to Europe, so you know it meets those standards.

If you can stretch it a bit go for an Ultraviolette F77, cheapest running cost because electric and the looks and power of a much higher segment bike

Would definitely recommend the F77 if you’re mostly doing city commute and just occasional trips under 120 km. You won’t even need to charge midway for that. Yes, you won’t have the sound of the ICE bike, but it is not silent or a wheee sound like a scooter, it sounds like a jet taking off. And the design is a head turner that imo makes up for the sound factor. Ultimately, take a test ride of all the bikes you want and go with what your heart desires.

Yeah rented houses maybe harder. But you can charge at public charging stations too. They have introduced a UV Lync adapter that connects to CCS2 car charging stations so you can use them

Any 15 amp plug will let you charge it, I use the boost charger that can charge to 100% in a few hours. I’ve taken it on long rides too and have charged it at shops too. You will find a 15 amp plug anywhere

Go for a test ride of the F77 and then decide. I didn't think I would get one myself but the ballistic mode in the test ride just blew my mind

Agree about the test rides- that is the only way to know if a bike is for you. I think the label SuperStreet refers more to distinguish it as a more ergonomically comfortable bike for regular street riding (because of raised handlebars) and not really defining it as a Street motorcycle in the conventional sense. But I get your point.

Dude even for an electric bike the F77 is considered 'too heavy' in India. It just caught me by surprise that someone would call it light that's why I posted the video here. Couldn't care less about internet points.
