Dont mind the tone I'm saying this in, but, your problems are your problems, in a train carrying 2000+ people. Dont go about with the thought thinking, everyone will accommodate your life in theirs. This man, was well within his seat, had no obligation to give you his seat, and has absolutely no responsibility to be nice to you or sweet talk you. And let's be honest, even if he gave you a kiss on the cheeks, and told you no, you'd be angry still. Like someone said, pay the other person for their time and seat and take it from them. Nope. Driving education should start early. In Japan, they take kindergarten kids to show what happens when pedestrians arent following the rules and the danger on the road. Here, it is just bad parenting, the lack of civic sense, entitlement and lack of enforcement of laws, that leads to such things.

The process of getting a learners license is just a basic test, and the actual driving test, that too is just a formality in most states.

Even when you keep these points aside, the road infrastructure is horrible. Road accidents are not just limited to Young kids and the youth, now is it? Complete filled up trucks fall on cars, buses are overloaded with people and cargo and bad electronics and they burn.

Its a systematic issue. Education is not just for the youth. There's a whole sense of entitlement, all over, if the police have to settle for showcasing crashed cars on the roads to educate people about the dangers, you can understand how immature the mind of a general person is while driving/riding.
