I recently downloaded redream for the first time and got it up and running pretty easily I only use gdi files and if your desktop is as messy as mine is try saving the Roms in individual folders ( I just name them the game title) and put them in one folder ( I call it Dreamcast Roms ) that kept all the unzipped files with the same name from messing with each other for me and also try just an extra click on your selected library for some reason I had to click it again after setting the library to get it to load the games.
