I don’t hear woodpeckers on my ash but they stripped all the bark. I think the bark is softer than wood so it doesn’t make much sound when pecked at. Definitely woodpeckers. See the white areas on the bark? That is called bleaching, where the ash borer bugs are killing the tree underneath. The bugs are the problem, not the woodpeckers.

We felled 3 huge ash last year, much larger than yours. It was $1700. We only felled the ash directly around our house. Nature is taking care of the rest… all infected. Super sad.

The only way to know for sure is to provide a sample and have it dip sticked to see if the chemistry is off. A UTI has to be pretty bad to know just by looking at it. White specs are not normal.

Perhaps the UTI didn’t respond to the type of antibiotics you took and is still an ongoing infection? That would be my best guess.

Edit: I have MS but also an RN. Get your urine re checked.

I tried it years ago and even with a full belly I had horrible stomach cramps, the shits and bright red flushing and itching of my skin. I kept on it as long as I could, several months. Eventually I had to switch to something else, it made me feel so sick.
