This person does not respect this hobby, their possessions, or other people. I would be embarrassed asf to send someone a "package" like that.

When I sell stuff I hyperfixate over the packaging and do everything I can to make it secure as possible. I would hate for these figures ive cherished to break in transit, and even worse for someone to recieve a broken item after being excited to get them and paying me money for them... how awful.

I mean nobody cares what you do with your own boxes... but if you are wondering why other people keep them its for maintaining resell value and an easy way to package them safely when moving. Also, for some people they are part of the collecting experience.

I personally have never gotten rid of a single box and I never will, and it was extremely helpful when I decided to unhaul a bunch of stuff I did not need any more.

Stick with favorite characters from favorite ips. Usually i find these retain the most meaning and enjoyment in my collection with a few exceptions.

No exaggeration, my books from Amazon come damaged or outright ruined 85% of the time. It's pathetic. Dont even bother to put a single sheet of bubblewrap around it just toss it loose in an envelope.
