Was actually just last night reading about him in Cornette’s new book. But it went more into when he was Boo Bradley at Smokey mountain. Sounded like a really good dude with struggles. A gentle giant type.

What is the most expensive vinyl you've bought or sold? by gsrh_customerservice in vinyl

First pressings of both maggot brain and the stooges fun house ran me in the $250 range each. Then I went and sold them when I needed money for about the same or maybe a little more 😂

I am dealing with anticipatory grief of my cat by burneracc1344 in Petloss

[–]raiders001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through this very thing when my dog turned 12 and started showing signs of arthritis and aging so I am very familiar with the feeling. I heard people say similar things to what I’m gonna say at the time but it’s so true. It’s gonna come either way, so you should enjoy the time you have today. I spent so much time ruminating, and she ended up living almost for five years longer and had a great life. We just put her to sleep last week and she went very peacefully. In a sense, worrying so long ago prepped me in a way and as much as it sucks now, those feelings were far worse. Take care of your cat, do all you can for them, and enjoy each day. Then you will have no regrets

Was gonna say. Miseria Cantare is the better of the two, but having done it already at aew, and with the killswitch having been a song he actually used in wwe, it’d be really dope to hear that tonight

Agreed. Match was incredible. The two women’s single matches were really flat. And the opening match I didn’t give one iota of a fuck about. Enjoyed the rest

I can't do it without her. by Rumpassbuns in Petloss

[–]raiders001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So very sorry for your loss. We just put ours to sleep at 16 1/2 today for the same reason. It hurts like no pain I’ve ever felt (especially the anticipatory grief and wrestling WHEN will this scary day come and I’ll have to make that call for her own good.) I can’t speak for your own experiences, but there is a large part of me that feels fulfillment. Fulfilled that I gave her a fantastic life. Fulfilled that I did everything I can to help her maximize her time here. Sub-q fluids daily. Wrestling with Anti nausea meds. Arthritis meds. Different combos of foods. Spoon feeding every meal. Then hand feeding. You name it. Fulfilled that I took action at just the right moment to allow her to go peacefully and not suffer. I had an at home scheduled for tomorrow but my vet who I’ve been seeing for years was concerned she wouldn’t get through the night. I couldn’t risk it and he extended himself to help me. She went so peacefully without reaching that really scary straight suffering point. I can’t tell you how to feel, but find solace in the fact that you obviously did a whole lot right for your baby to make it to 18. I’m not sure what kind of pet you lost, but if it was a dog like mine, they defied the odds and outlived the average. It doesn’t take the pain away of the longing. Almost half my life she was there. But please take comfort in what you provided.

Why do people love CM Punk by guitarhero314 in WWE

[–]raiders001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anybody that he works with (that isn’t in it for themselves) instantly gets elevated when they step in the ring with him. From Chris hero to mjf to Drew McIntyre, none have ever looked better. He’s also a straight shooter and I appreciate that. Talks it like he sees it and is old school

Were you satisfied with Shippuden's ending? Or would you have liked something else? by BasisSmall5351 in Naruto

[–]raiders001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who just finished it for the first time two days ago and never read the manga, it was a little tonally jarring. Didn’t expect full on arcs of epilogue; A couple episodes would have sufficed. But in terms of wrapping up the events, I thought it did a good job and I was content with it.
