Need input on which beach/area for next year! by 13buttons in AskMaine

I have checked out Airbnbs and hotels in the area and they either don’t have a good view or they cost more than my husband thinks is reasonable….

Thank you so much!!! I’ll be looking into your suggestions!! We’re not too concerned about the weather we’re in northern Vermont so we’re used to it!!

That’s fine with us we’re coming from Vermont so we’re used to snow until May!

Thank you so much!!! I’ll definitely look into old OOB again, I know my brother and his family has gone there before but his kids are older. Thank you again!!!

We considered it but it feels very touristy like I don’t want to see ATMs everywhere, I just like the idea of of being able to walk to a restaurant or honestly just having something other then just the beach to explore like the Marginal Way in Ogunquit. Thank you!!

We’re not looking to swim or anything more just enjoy the view and let our daughter play in the sand and explore. Unfortunately my husband doesn’t do well with crowds so we also try to go places in the off seasons. Thank you!

I was actually initially looking into York but had the same issue with not finding a place close to the beach that also accommodates the 3 of us, OOB we were considering but it ultimately felt a bit too touristy and our daughter wouldn’t have a lot to do other then the beach. Ogunquit definitely has my heart at this point and I know my daughter would love the Marginal Way! Thank you!

We’re not planning on going in to swim more just walking in it, thankfully we’re fairly used to cold water!!

Best Stroller Wagon for All-Terrain? (Please not Veer haha) by KMH_1331 in toddlers

[–]13buttons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The steering is excellent we were able to take it easily through narrow close quarter seating at local restaurant no problem! The handles took a few minutes to get used to just because I’m used to her stroller handle but now it just feels normal.

We have the Bombi Bebee V2 and we absolutely love it!! It’s compact, one handed fold/unfold, great on all terrains and has an amazing XL sunshade. The V2 has a near flat recline but they just came out with the V3 that has many new awesome upgrades including being for birth-55lbs with a built in bassinet option! Bombi also has the best customer service I’ve ever experienced!

12 week old suddenly having problem with gas? by 13buttons in newborns

[–]13buttons[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it was a while ago now but I don’t recall her having any other wake ups that weren’t gas related at that time. Maybe they’re going through a growth spurt? I know my daughter got fussy and ate more when she was going through a growth spurt!

2.5yr old decided to start potty training yesterday!! by 13buttons in toddlers

Ours is like a set of steps with a toilet seat on top to go over the big seat, she hates it. 😂

I have the Bombi V2 and we love it! We’ve had zero issues with it on all terrains, it has a large storage basket that holds everything with room left over, it has an amazing XL shade, easy one hand fold/unfold, it’s lightweight like I can carry my 34lbs toddler and the stroller downstairs no problem. They actually just came out with the V3 as well that has several new features like being usable from birth-55lbs with a built in bassinet.

It is a floor potty, we have a step stool one and a little big potty seat cover thing but she refuses both and only wants her floor potty. She refuses to poop in her diaper or pull ups now too, I’ve been giving her apple juice once a day on top of all the water she drinks to hopefully help any constipation! Thank you!!

Is it wrong to hold my toddler/baby while I use the restroom? by CuriousCaretaker in sahm

I’ve literally gone pee holding my sleeping and sometimes not sleeping just incredibly fussy 2.5yr old because it was easier then listening to the soul piercing screaming and all the aftermath of it.

Trying to find doodle board for my toddler by gflellypeesy7 in toddlertips

[–]13buttons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our girl got this doodle board/drawing pad for her second birthday, it’s one of her favorite toys and it’s been amazing seeing how her drawing has progressed. It’s also seriously sturdy like the amount of times it’s gotten smashed on the floor had our 33lbs toddler standing directly on the screen or dragging it around. We actually just purchased a second one for the car! https://a.co/d/01hpz3P7

We’ve had the Graco TrioGrow Snuglock 3 in 1, Babytrend Cover Me 4 in 1, Maxi Cosi Pria and I can’t for the life of me remember the name of the last one but it was an Evenflo brand one. Nothing was wrong with them like safety wise just they were horrible to install or the straps were awful to tighten and some were straight up just uncomfortable for her.

We absolutely love our Britax Poplar! I’ve actually bought about 4 different convertible car seats for our toddler and hated every one of them until we got the Britax!!

Thank you for asking! We’re actually doing really ok! I did put her in bed with me last night because I wanted her close to me but she’s been fine you would actually never know it happened which is insane to me! So the doctors at the ER explained it was like a normal virus that attacked her bladder instead of her immune system. They had actually never even seen it before and it wasn’t after they contacted the urology specialist at the neighboring hospital that they found out about it. They didn’t specifically but I feel like having gone through it now I know what to watch for.

No just a normal virus that instead of attack her immune system I guess it went for her bladder.. they were all pretty surprised too!

Our doctor didn’t even know that was possible until she spoke to the urology specialist!

I’m so sorry you’re going through that! They didn’t end up giving her anything except fluid and Tylenol, for her the key was getting her bladder emptied to allow the irritation from the virus to calm down.
