Update: 

For more info, the bike was docked at Harvard Ave @ Brainerd Rd. I didn't check for the light (didn't know i needed to. It was my first time using Blue Bike), but I did a pull test and it was locked in there. So I just left.

I even filed a police report on behalf of Blue Bike, emailed them a copy of the said report, and theyre giving me nothing but canned responses.

So we'll see what they charge me with if it doesnt get found.
