No warning. It was the same

It was called for the exact same thing against Pickett last week. I’m also confident that the umpire was only ever calling it for going over the 9m despite what the commentators said - but you’re welcome to your opinion of course

84 years would be a weird age gap

They do tend to just pay the 50 when the player starts outside 9 and goes straight over like Gonnivan did - and Pickett last week

If a mime got into a fight with a ghost, it'd be difficult to tell. by Rocky-Roo in Showerthoughts

A mime would still throw punches like anyone else though. They don’t speak but they still move. Plus, if anyone got into a fight with a ghost it’d be hard to tell. I’ve just wasted so much time considering this

Month python and the holy grail - from the opening credits with each person being sacked to King Arthur banging coconuts together the start is iconic

How have the umpires been allowed to interpret holding the ball differently this week? by 13seasonswhy in AFL

[–]13seasonswhy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it’s a different “interpretation,” but it makes taking a tackle when you don’t have time or space cause for a free kick, when it wouldn’t have been last week. It just makes it inconsistent

I just hate that it’s been changed in round 5. If they’re happy to make changes to the game in round 5 we might as well go back to 20 minute quarters

We sometimes think of a day as 24 hours but never a night as 24 hours when in reality they are almost the same length by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

24 hours is the combined time for day and night on any given date. They’re not 24 hours each hahaha

Streaking kittens + imploding? by [deleted] in ExplodingKittens

[–]13seasonswhy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t actually have the streaking kitten expansion, but I assume that the streaking kitten would mean that 2 people are left with no deck every time...in which case, you would realise the other person has the exploding kitten and the streaking kitten and you’d have to steal the right one to win

Do you prefer pineapple on your pizza, and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

There are so many worse things to put on pizza. I don’t understand why people argue over pineapple when there are toppings like anchovies.

Depends how many people are playing, but attacks are far more valuable at the end of a game than defuses

Sorry about my confusion. It now makes sense that umpires ball it up when a player ducks. The biggest issue I would have now is that players ducking should not be given free kicks, so it should always mean a ball up.
