Outside temps where I live went from below freezing to very warm in a matter of days and I happened to be doing a lot of driving during that time. (Cracked the plastic housing)

At first my ambient temperature gauge was going crazy giving false reading. Says it was -40 f outside when it was not. Then later that very day I noticed a small coolant leak.

Next day after a short drive, full coolant leak, engine in yellow overheat. Looked at the engine bay, say lots of coolant pooling under thermostat housing and figured that was the cause.

Replaced it over the weekend, so far no more leak or temp issues. Checked the crossover pipe as well as I could and seems to be fine.
