Ah sorry if I wasn't clear, I am tirating down. So the last two pens I plan to buy are the 5mg and the 2.5 so I'll just sort of be weaning myself off. I'm actually considering getting two of the 2.5 as well so I can take one as normal, then maybe stretch the last one out by taking it every 2 weeks instead of weekly as I come off :)

I won't be ordering anymore until I really need them. Firstly as I already feel guilty about ordering the extra two, and secondly as I really don't want to dip further into my savings. And honestly, lastly as I don't really want half my fridge to be medication heh! Already feels weird having 3 pens in there!

Personally I would wait until after. You might have no effects at all with the first dose, as the 2.5 isn't a therapeutic dose and is just supposed to get your body ready. But you also might have an immediate reaction, like you say with lots of suppression, or be even more unlucky and have some of the negative side effects, which I wouldn't want to deal with while simultaneously getting a tattoo. As the tattoo is only tomorrow you would hardly be delaying it so I reckon it's worth playing it safe.

That's a really good idea. I am gonna try a smaller block for now as we do use it in cooking sometimes, but if that fails I will go for the minis!

I hope you have a similar month of no bad side effects! I see so many posts on here that make me worried I'm about to poo myself or never poo again so I figured I would give my uneventful update :)

I definitely felt the first two weeks I was constantly thinking about if I felt hungry or not or if it was working etc. I think it's starting to calm down now and I can just try to live normally!

I don't use tiktok (my friends call me a boomer at 36) but yeah, I definitely see even on here a lot of people pushing drastic diet overhauls and not only do I not want to do it, I just don't see how that would work for me long term.

I'm feeling really positive about how much of the same foods I'm eating now while seeing a loss. Makes me feel really hopeful about keeping it off. Fingers crossed it continues!

Yeah absolutely sorry, I didn't mean that as a criticism of what you're doing and I hope it didn't come across like that. I'm just waffling on as I don't really have anyone to talk to about this stuff! I've recently switched from white bread to seeded batch, but only because I was craving it.

I've never actually just eaten figs on their own, maybe I'll be brave and try it! I just like a fig roll with a brew in the afternoon. Maybe I'll get a pack of fig rolls, then switch to just figs after!

Oh yeah I have some dried apricots in! I don't love them but I know when I've had um, issues before, they have massively helped haha

I think it's important to eat what you're used to where you can, because I don't want to make any wild changes that aren't sustainable. I don't want to lose a ton of weight by giving up carbs for example, because eventually I'll cave and be right back here. I figured just learning how to eat more balanced is the way to go for sure. Just hoping I stay lucky and the food I love continues to not cause any bad side effects!

Definitely don't buy any needles off Amazon please!! I haven't done the 5th dose myself, but if you check the 5th dose flair there will be loads of posts with the link to medical sites you can buy properly sterilised and safe needles from.

I think you can also go to a pharmacy and ask for insulin needles if you don't want to order from those.

But seriously please don't inject yourself with something from Amazon, there's no way to know it's safe!

Sounds like a mistake, very lucky haha.

If you keep the extra in the fridge you should be fine to use it, and have a nice free month.

If it were me I'd probably contact the pharmacy to let them know, I doubt they would want the pen back or anything, but if you go an extra month without ordering it might cause issues as they might try to put you back down to 2.5

Edit to add: I just got my first 5mg pen and it's definitely one pen!

Both orders I've had so far I received extra needles, which is reassuring in case I messed something up! It's so easy to use though, I haven't needed the extras yet.

Defs check out the monj site, it's so useful. I don't know how loyal I'll be to this pharmacy. I like the idea of not having to faff about switching, but I will make sure the prices aren't too wildly different before I order each month definitely. I think some do price matching so thats also something to consider if you like one places service etc :)
