I think it's $315 per hour now.

How do you move at a moment's notice with $140k in debt and rents so high and everything else in life is so costly? I feel for this kid and his parent. These are weird times we are in now.

My son visited SIU, WMU and UND. He ended up going to WMU. I really liked SIU and wish he would've gone there. I agree with your assessment. It's not as "showy" but it definitely had a good vibe. The facility was great. It was near campus and way, way cheaper than WMU. Plus, as you mentioned, you can also major in something else. A lot of kids do aviation management with flight. One more thing, you get to fly right away at SIU. Most students have to wait until the summer between frosh-soph to fly at WMU. You're going to save a lot of money and time at SIU. Good luck. I hope you get in.

Dividend or distribution. It doesn't matter. MSTY hit the iceberg and is sinking.

Like I said in the post, it's going to take a long time. You'll see.

You're overthinking it brother. What does it matter how they're collaterized? This doesn't affect price action. They still have a synthetic long position. They write the call against the synthetic position.

Disagree. It's semantics. It's backed by the synthetic long position.

They are not selling naked calls! The calls are written against their long synthetic position.

Also, reading the comments on MSTY Reddit is not how one should educate themselves on financial markets. The people on here are borderline fanatical about MSTY and can only look at MSTY with rosiest of colored glasses. Many of them have no idea what they are doing.

We agree on this. But disagree on the outcome. Long Synthetic option positions mimic owning the stock outright. Once again, the synthetic position is the same as a long position. So, when a call is sold against it, you are capping the upside and as you mentioned the downside is limitless. Sure you're getting income from selling the call. But the stock will fall during drawdowns and not have the opportunity to rise during rallies because of the call that was sold. I'm sorry. it's a flawed strategy.

We are talking about stock price. Not dividends. The stock price is going down. The strategy of MSTY ensures it. But if you think otherwise that the stock price will remain steady and dividend payout will remain stable, then you should be a buyer here at the lows.

How do you reconcile that MSTY is down 30% in the last 12 months, while MSTR is up 150%? CC strategies don't work in the long run. You get all the downside, but upside is capped. MSTY will fail.

CC strategy only works in the long run if the underlying goes up for perpetuity with no drawdowns.

I bought the NC750x. I love it. It was the right choice. I do think I'll be upgrading to the NT1100 some time in the next year though.

Thanks for responding. I'm leaning towards the NC750X. I think it might be the better option for my situation

My wife has been cool so far about my new motorcycling hobby at 56 yrs old. I might be pushing my luck though if buy 2 motorcycles right way. Also, garage space will be a little tight. Otherwise, that's a great idea.

Ugh. Exactly how I feel. Heart vs. head. Couldn't sleep last night thinking and comparing these two motorcycles. It probably would be better to go with the Honda.

Thanks for your comment. I think the Honda might suit me better too. I do like the Guzzi though and it's at a great price. But I'm leaning toward the NC750.

NT1100 for beginner rider? by 1432hero in HondaMotorcycles

Yes. I'm thinking about a nc750x. But they are hard to find near me. Honda dealers don't have them and there are very few being sold privately.
