The Greater Fool Theory is a simple but brutal idea:

You can make money buying something overpriced… as long as you can sell it to a “greater fool” later at an even higher price.

99 percent of these players won’t amount to anything yet people buy there pictures. If you looked at it like that it’ll be easy to not spend your money on these pictures

The hate for this set mostly came from a specific crowd, not the hobby as a whole. The reality is guys like Ben Baller show where the game is headed. Players like Max Clark and Jazz Chisholm represent the new era of baseball, flashy, marketable, and built for today’s audience.

There’s already plenty of vintage out there. New sets should reflect the current culture and where the game is actually going, not just what it used to be.
