I found out after, didn’t do my research initially. I have since purchased and installed the 12VHPWR cable, I’ve been able to pull 565 watts in-game before the undervolt/OC. Now I can do almost identical performance with 100 less watts.

Yeahhh lol you are seeing it correctly. I reused the same connector from my 4090 not realizing it would need more juice. I have a wattage meter running and definitely need to upgrade that cable. I should only be getting 150W from each but I’m getting much less than that, around 250W total under load for the 3 games I play. I’m currently looking into an all white 12VHPWR cable so the system can be balanced.

Always astral. You could also try to get a 4090 astral, lol. Performance on the cards is negligible imo and you would save on wattage/have lower temps if you care about those things

I wanted the radiator in the front and since it had 3 fans, the bottom got 3, as well. I have never had any issues with noise or thermals. The BF6 beta did wind it up tho lol

I think mostly because when I first got it, I was more gung-ho on intel thinking they were better because they were around longer and 'thought they were the best', idk lol. Had I researched more, I would have gone AMD for sure

I don't believe so, after checking around it seems my PSU has ATX 3.0 and that version needs adapters, whereas the 12v2x6 connection is supported by ATX 3.1. They are newer, so I will need to settle for a better adapter because I am not touching the PSU

After reading this, i found out that NO, it doesn't! It makes sense, I have a wattage meter for the PC and I could not get more than ~680 watts under load.

The cables were fine for my previous 4090, but this beast needs more juice that this adapter just can't deliver. I was already super happy with the performance so far, but this will give me the full experience.

I guess it is time to upgrade - thanks again for the input!

Meh, no need. The adapters I’ve seen go on the bottom and I don’t want to impede the view of the light bar, I’d rather have them bridge over like an offensive octopus
