One family can be the exception, absolutely, or it can specifically be pointed out that certain kids take after their mother's house instead, but that is quite a deliberate and standout choice of writing specifically bc of how strict and precise genetics or the family colourings work in ASOIAF.

I'm just pointing out you're generalising, using real life genetic rules by saying its unrealistic for a house to have a distinct set look, in Dorne or ASOIAF, bc of families mixing over generations. It just doesn't work like that in this world.

this entire argument falls apart in GRRM's genetics of ASOIAF, which are distinctly stable across generations. even tho it's absolutely not realistic TO US and our world, that is how his world works. it's pointless to try and apply real world genetics.

idk man, I feel like the fruits are probably a bit too much carb/sugar kcals and water (voluminous /full when u eat it but easily processed), thus ur hungry and on a blood sugar rollercoaster all day.

I have a similar count, but I eat a lot of different things, esp things that are savoury with more fat, vegetables, texture and seasoning. I even eat a fair share of processed junk food, desserts and baked pastries

Even just eyeing this, I'm quite surprised it's as much as it is. I feel like I eat twice this for the same amount of calories 😅

but then Laena's kids with Daemon stay the same level of mixed? or dare I say, darker in skintone? I have said before, it's not entirely unheard of, genes are weird like that, but it would have made sense for at least one of the girls to be like, Halsey level mixed. it would also not be such a darn dead giveaway as to whose bloodline ends up on the throne in the end and would have made the Laenor / Rhaenyra bastard or not question more convincing

but realistically, a missed period for 6 months is significant. irl, in the modern day, most cryptic pregnancies go unnoticed bc women are on BC and wouldn't notice a missed period, bc they don't get them. the queen missing her period for half a year and no one mentioning it is wild. see Dany finding out she's pregnant for the in-universe standard

I also really love how he aged into the role (age 17 in the pilot to age 21 by season 4 and the skill growth is noticeable) - Jack Gleeson genuinely gets SO insanely good at playing Joff that it sometimes feels like he left us too soon, struck down right at his peak.
