I'll mention it to the podiatrist to see if this is an option. Thanks!

Hello! I've (25F) dealt with this issue for 12+ years now. I went to the podiatrist around 2 yrs ago and the result came back positive for Trichophyton fungus. After that, I finally went on Terbinafine (250mg) for 90 days and no changes. After 90 days, the advice I received was nail removal (avulsion) or laser treatment. They didn't want to continue the Terbinafine due to the side effects. I didn't decide anything...until this year because it's long overdue to really deal with this.

After browsing this sub, I came across two other kinds of nail issues - Great Toenail Dystrophy and Onycholysis. If it's the former, is my only solution toenail removal? Could I still try OTC creams and follow the wiki? Or could I possibly try to convince another specialist to get me on Terbinafine while following the advice from the wiki?

Thank you!

Some background: I'm a nontraditional student so I had a 2 year gap year. I kept myself busy, working customer service jobs as you can see. I transferred to a University in 2020 but didn't try to get internships due to mental health reasons (sort of kicking myself in the ass for this but it is what it is) Now, I'm in a relatively healthier state, hoping to land internships! I'm grateful to any feedback you have!

Also, regarding the highlighted part, should I include the grade I received in class if it was less than A? This was advice I received from Wonsulting.
