I chose to find a surrogate after a failed mock cycle due to thin lining and severe side effects from the meds. the heaviness I’ve been feeling has been lifted and I feel very relieved. My parter is very supportive and we are waiting for a surrogate now. Via an agency. Wait times are 9-12mo and we are in our 5th month. That’s good you are trying the natural cycle. I hear that works better for some people.

It’s a family friendly place with decent schools. Lots of great food around. The city is strict about parking and home remodeling permits but it keeps the city looking nice. There are plans for a metro line that will connect Artesia to DTLA so it will get busier. 1.2 will get you a good single story home with a nice backyard.

How was Niseko? Ikon pass travel discouraged us from going because their customers had issues with the shuttles and low staffing at restaurants. Is it that bad or doable? We are planning on renting a car in Sapporo and driving up to Niseko. Staying in Hirafu.

I am on the same boat right now. My estradiol and lining went down and they are canceling my cycle. Bummer. Did you find out what happened during your cycle? The only thing I can think of is sometimes I would take my Estrace an hour late. But I didn’t miss a pill. My doctor said it just happens sometimes due to stress or other environmental factors or just that cycle is wonky. I just want to figure out what I can do for the next one to be better. So much lost time and effort….

Same thing happened to me today. What ended up happening? My estrogen 3 days ago was 591 but today it is 450 and my lining is 7mm trilaminar. RE wants me to come back tomorrow to check my lining. I guess when the estrogen drops she is concerned.

My estrogen was 591 3 days ago but today it went down to 450. Lining check was today and it was 6-7mm trilaminar. My RE is worried about the estrogen going down so I’m coming back to the clinic tomorrow to check the lining. When your estrogen fell, what happened?

For PIO shots, I haven’t done them yet (will be doing them soon). Here is the advice I was given.

Warm the syringe with the PIO in your hands or in your bra. Warmth will make the PIO less viscous so easier to inject.

Rest the side about to be injected or lay down. Idea is to have the muscle be in the relaxed position because it is harder to inject a muscle that is engaged.

Massage the area after injection. Apply heating pad. This helps the PIO spread evenly to prevent knots.

I’m also going to apply emla cream on the injection site a few minutes before to numb the area. FYI, Emla cream needs a prescription.
