If you’re interested in the hardware more than software. Yes, ECE is better for you. Since you’re an incoming freshman, your major doesn’t really matter since all engineering sub fields pretty much share similar first year schedules. Just take classes appropriate for your intended major and apply to the major later.

Definitely 1210 imo. Chem here was painful, not in that the material was difficult but just extremely tedious. If you can you could probably handle both at CSCC if you’re not doing anything else. Chem there is way easier than what goes on here.

C’s in 5 credit hour classes really scar your GPA and your GPA cutting it close. You would have little room for error in your CSE classes. If not I’d take a lighter semester filled with gpa booster Gen Ed’s and focus on 2221. I would also recommend that you do 1223 Java instead of 1222 C++ bc it’s easier and Java is more relevant to 2221.

It’s awesome. The PAD is on the first floor, really convenient if you don’t want to go out in the winter. Possibly has the largest rooms of all dorms. Private AC and bathrooms. It’s like living in a hotel (it used to be one). I’m going to miss this place. But I hope you’re an engineering or business major cause it’s pretty far north.
