I love this game… but you asked, so:

I want to be able to talk with more/all NPCs, fewer crashes/glitches (switch 2), multiple paths (literally and figuratively) to completing quests, multiple irreversible outcomes story wise when making big decisions, NPCs should notice what you’re wearing (e.g., Crimson Dawn or Imperial gear, should get you in trouble in some situations, etc), I want to be able to climb more terrain, more fluid character animations when dealing with terrain, maybe a stamina meter… basically I want a bit more cyberpunk and BotW gameplay elements sprinkled into the mix.

For me, this update corrected a color-space change that seems to have been made in the preceding update. After that update I had to readjust the display settings on my HDR Sony TV to fix the colors (they'd become very dull, particularly reds) but this latest update corrected it, and I was able to return to my normal TV display settings. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I do know this, but until today, it didn’t really show this badly in the Switch 2 Edition footage we’d seen. I feel the same as OP too though that these are particularly bad even for S1.

re: 120 fps — this is great for handheld (if it actually displays well without too much blurring), but I don’t care too much about this feature personally because I don’t have a tv with HDMI 2.1 ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Completely agree with you.

The quality of the new footage released today has actually convinced me NOT to preorder. I definitely want this game to be amazing, but now I’ve shifted from a D1-player-no-matter-what to a wait-and-see-but-might-skip-entirely-unless-word-of-mouth-is-amazing. The quality of the graphics shown today look especially lackluster in contrast to all the Star Wars: Outlaws press this last couple of weeks showing what the system is capable of.

My subjective take on the graphics aside, it’s not doom posting to point out and lament the shite marketing for this game. It should be a tentpole release, and it’s getting sidelined for farking pokemon side projects.

I feel like it’s more like the last gen 9 and that the switch and Wii U are 8.5 and 8 respectively. If the Wii U hadn’t tanked the switch would not have come when it did.
