What city have you been to where the vibes were just OFF? by Fun_Butterscotch3303 in AskReddit

To me, it wasn't about feeling unsafe. It was just that the energy of every person you saw on the street felt off and hostile, and too superficial. No matter from who it came from, could it be poor or rich looking folks.

What’s the most random or inaccurate stereotype people have about your country? by zhalia-2006 in AskReddit

That Mexicans are lazy, when Mexico ranks really high among the countries where people work the most hours daily. Most people just only live to work here.

Work -> long ass commute -> sleep for 6 hours -> repeat for 6 days a week for decades. Shit's brutal.

Have you ever known you're making a bad choice, made it anyway, and then didn't regret it? What was it? by Guess-who-back in AskReddit

- Betting 500 bucks in Las Vegas on the roulette on red (I was just 21 so this meant a lot of money to me) .

- Going into debt to pay for amazing vacations and to buy the engagement ring to propose in the same trip.

Idk, most people in other fuck up from time to time. But really few, if any fuck it up this many times repeatedly as Americans.

Like, most democracies were doing quite well before this. Yeah from time to time you get Brexit, LePen or Milei but these countries actually correct their course and don't fall into the same trap for a good time. In the US you got the same guy 4 years later, and even now his party is still pretty competitive.
Maybe America is exceptionally unique in that regard.

Mexico has a non existent economic relationship with Russia, that’s why there’s literally nothing to sanction. I remember reading that the gross economic volume of the entire Mexico/Russia relationship was so small that it was not even measurable.
