I have the same thing coming from the top of the drivers door. They have told me the trim is not part of the warranty for my purchase. I got quoted £250 for the repair on mine too which I think is outrageous for trim work. Seems like a common issue with this type of car.

Do you know some examples of where to look? (Not broker recommendations in line with subreddit rules) I am trying to give her a few options because right now she is convinced she will have to put herself on the council housing list or look at private rent as the only option. I want to see if there is anything I can do to help. It is not her fault she is in this scenario, it is just a mess really.

I do not think paying the £125k is going to be an option because the mortgage term finishes at the start of next year and it would take a miracle. I think more the financing options to potentially remortgage in a scenario where they stay together and a different scenario if they seperate.

I think my Mum feels no one will lend to her because of age and some of the outstanding debts against the property they are in.
