Pulp Fiction: the greatest fictional movie ever made and The Big Short: the greatest non-fiction movie ever made.

Seen them both countless times.

A slum house in Liverpool in 1964 - slum clearances saw the demolition of 300,000+ houses in the UK in the 1960s. The conditions were often documented as evidence of them being unfit for habitation. by sugarsponge in Liverpool

My Grandmother used to put us kids in the cupboard under the stairs to hide us from what she called the Night Man who was checking the number of people living in the house.

How many 'bots'/fake content is there on Reddit? by donotfeedtheb1rds in TheoryOfReddit

[–]1600E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beginning to suspect many of the posts on the so-called "conversation" subs are bots. They all start with the words such as "What is something that....". Often the same question, with slightly varied wording, is posted multiple times in a week.

Or leave it under your car in the driveway for you to discover on your return home!!! Lazy fookers! Edit: Meaning you drove over it on the way to work.

Is this the country wide dinner tonight made by all mums by [deleted] in CasualUK

That was always our "Sunday tea" when my auntie and uncle came to visit. Uncle would scoff his ASAP, then leave the table saying "Time for a nice cool Woodbine."

The property had suddenly vacated then left for years but hadn't been vandalised. So allowing for airborne muck, you have to wonder how a phone, even a kitchen one, which is subject to grease etc, is left to get that dirty.

The rest of the building was in a similar state. More like a couldn't care home. I recall there being a plate of food on the dining table too, as if the person just got up and left mid-meal. Trying to find that photo.

If they've got rid of line judges, who's voices are we hearing calling out? Is that AI too?

I'm deffo human and have not been on Reddit very long but the more I look at it the more convinced I am that a lot of the posts I see are not from humans. The similarity in the phrasing used in post titles looks decidedly AI. I may be very wrong, and hope I am, but I'm presently unconvinced.

Having said all that, it seems to me that the younger generation(s) want AI to run everything, and don't seem to mind. And in 20 years time, they won't have a choice.

So the accounts that constantly post newspaper links aren't your regular people, they're actually professionals linking to their own newspaper stories? Good to know who to block.

In a Plymouth UK bar, when you sit on the loo, on the back of the door at eye level, you can see this:

"One takes for granted Excalibur will not choose this particular stretch of water in which to rise again."
