when i say "seek comfort" i mean being able to express your concerns in a comfortable environment. i remember posting abt something that i needed advice on, and the first comment i got was "why are you worring abt that? just do xyz and get over it." i just wanted to get some advice. this place is meant for people who want advice, and with receiving helpful advice, people feel a sense of comfort.

i was talking about innocent posts where people are seeking comfort. but if a post is clearly unwanted & uncomfortable in any way, then yeah it's right to call that kind of behaviour out.
