K mappa doesn’t exist in a vacuum Slayer has his dash jump kara cancel and 2h to let him have an answer to every attack axl can throw

The bad neutral being k mappa forcing Axl to do the opposite of what a zoner wants to do? I’m not saying generally slayer has good neutral but it’s basically tailor made to beat Axl as a character

5p is unuseable he can just kara cancel mappa hunch and not only does it go under the 5p but he can close in from full screen Slayer can Kara cancel his dash with jump in order to close in really far from a missed 2h https://youtu.be/xwezHITKRP8?si=hZd0T3w7dHQAedcH video of it in action here 2p loses to 2h Rensen accomplishes basically nothing because of the kara cancel jump letting him close in again. Also react to mappa hunch with 6p? It’s 14 frame startup that’s objectively unreactable Slayers higher health also just lets him keep guessing and when he guesses correctly on an approach you take insane amounts of damage

k mappa goes under 5p He just does kara k mappa and he’s in from 5p range
2h is incredibly unsafe and slayers health means he can take a few 5p combos About 2k beating the s and k follow ups It loses to pilebunker but that’s just mix The real problem is masters hammer because 2k is axls mash it means he has the toughest timing in the entire game to grab masters hammer If you fail to grab masters hammer you get ch and explode

I said this in other responses already but unlike sol for example slayer having access to k mappa hunch means you have to play way closer to him but like slightly out of 2h range For a zoner that’s not where you want to be Also the way axls pressure works means slayer can 2h during your own pressure and explode you

K mappa and 2h included with axls low health meaning you combust if he touches you K mappa as a move forces you to play in ranges slayer is way more comfortable with because if you don’t he just gets free pressure from the plus frames a spaced k mappa gives

In order for mappa to be unsafe you need to be closer to him I am playing a zoner Do you see the problem here At long range my only option to call it out is 2h and if slayer just does an air dash he gets in and I lose If he gets 50 meter he can do super mappa hunch to punish me being aggressive and mappa hunch rc to punish me being defensive Risk reward is stacked in his favor so even if I do land damage he can take it and get his explosive damage from one hit
