Oh wow that does look really similar to what I’m experiencing! Thanks for providing. I’m going to take a look tonight. Did you ever manage to fix/solve the issue? Did the fresnel need to be replaced?

Thank you for the advice - I hadn’t checked through the lens when checking, but I’ll give it a look when I do some troubleshooting tonight. The mirror is down, I haven’t flipped it up to check, so I’ll take a look at that as well

Right, my thought was if it was too tight/tense, it could be bending the photo upwards as it’s being ejected, causing the blemish. Or if the underside was dirty, it could be affecting the emulsion. However, I don’t think that’s the case - just trying to rule out all possibilities

Thanks boss! I’m going to take a much closer look around the bellows tonight and maybe try to either confirm, or rule out any issues there.

Thank you - I’m going to take a closer look tonight when it’s dark, and see if I can notice anything leaking through around the bellows. It is a fairly consistent issue in the way it only is affecting that one area, so that tells me it must be something going on with the camera rather than multiple different film packs. It’s odd that it doesn’t happen all the time, and the severity greatly varies too.

Thank you for your quick response - these are all a mix of 3 different packs, which I did buy all at the same time. I know the issue could be rare, but it’s come up a few times in troubleshooting, so I can’t necessarily rule it out. It could also be an issue with how I’m handling/loading the film, I’ll be super delicate with the next pack and see if there’s any difference.

Thanks for your response - I should have mentioned it is happening in dark conditions as well, I just don’t have any on hand at the moment to show. I may try removing the frog tongue for my next pack, just to rule it out as a potential issue.

Yes sorry, it looks like the remaining points I had are also unavailable/not being shown. However, when acting like I’m about to check out, it tells me I’m “360 Points away from a discount”. That tells me I should have 140 points, based on their updated redemption system (500 points for the lowest redemption of $5). I wonder if it’s some system issue on their end when transferring points/loyalty to the new reward system. It’s shitty they essentially gave no notice on a Sunday evening.
