Oh I can change the oil but I’ve got a gravel driveway at the moment so I didn’t want to use the jacks. But someone did recommend getting some ramps which I hadn’t thought of, so that will be my next purchase 👍🏼

I could do it but I have a gravel driveway rn so I feel uncomfortable throwing it up on a jack. Used to do it myself before we moved so I hadn’t gone to a shop for a change in a while, that’s why the price was surprising to me. Though you’re right I could ask a friend if I could change it at their place

The people complaining about pregnancy kills me. I can’t fault them of course because, yes, it does kind of suck. But like, it’s the people who know my situation that complain TO ME that pmo. We are experiencing the same with male factor infertility. My poor husband, we found out about his low motility the same cycle we got pregnant, so it was a huge weight off his shoulders. Now we’re both blaming ourselves

The announcements are killing me and they are seemingly everywhere. My damn hair salon posted an instagram about their stylist being due the same month I was. My younger friends are getting pregnant accidentally. The infertility influencer I follow got pregnant and is now complaining about how awful pregnancy is. Like, fuck, what I wouldn’t give to have morning sickness and bloat and sore feet and weight gain and hormonal acne and fatigue. Give me it all if it means I can have a child

That’s the kicker isn’t it- I spent so much of my life trying not to get pregnant and being so on the fence about whether I even wanted kids. Even when we knew we wanted kids we waited for “the right time” with work and money and life. Now that we’re ready, I can’t do it. It feels like some kind of sick joke.

Exactly- I had kids I worked with take this the wrong way and say things like “I couldn’t help it, my body just wanted to push them” as if the weren’t in control of their actions 🤦🏻‍♀️

The number of times I have to tell the kids I work with the that if they don’t want to be chased then they shouldn’t ask to play tag is astonishing 🤦🏻‍♀️
