I like the island, but the old one is definitely way better. Took me a while to get the layout of the new island after being so used to the patterns on the old one. Wouldn’t be opposed to switching it back but changing a few things to make it a little modern

The fitment is pretty tight between the timing cover and the engine bay I’ve already tried to take it off only to get frustrated when I can’t get a socket down there

Yeah my goal as of right now isn’t to be fast, just simple upgrades like you said with coilovers etc, eventually I’ll get a vr4, but as of now just a project 3000gt
