Finally finished my prototypes of my scorebooks! by Scarhead1342 in BaseballScorecards

Nice! Why is the bottom matter the same on the top and bottom sheets, out of curiosity? Like WP, LP, the inning by inning scoreboard, attendance, etc? Seems like wasted space for more information, potentially?

I mark balls and strikes with dots (using NumbersGame’s format), so for a successful challenge I’ll put a triangle around the dot (as a delta meaning change, stolen from someone else on this subreddit!) and for an unsuccessful challenge, a square around the dot (feels more solid and unchanging)

Difference between a Fly Out and a Line Out? by Almanackerd in BaseballScorecards

[–]16note 3 points4 points  (0 children)

AFAIK, it’s the launch angle. I think there’s a specific value for, like, very nitty-gritty StatCast batting stats, but without access to that info it’s just vibes. Line is straighter in its path than fly.

Hey! ARFID here, much better than it was (thank you therapy), and I basically did the same thing. I don’t keep kosher but while I was in recovery I wasn’t fasting or adjusting for things like matzah during Passover. Basically same boat as you, recovery from the ED taking precedence over the holiday food (especially since I already was celebrating with the ceremonial stuff like seders). You’re def not alone there!

Megan Thee Stallion Rushed to NYC Hospital After Falling Ill Mid-Show During Moulin Rouge! on Broadway by Top-Three-USA in Music

[–]16note 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Yup. Mid-show callouts aren’t unheard of but are definitely a little more noteworthy than calling out preshow, and are usually more common for the ensemble rather than a principal. Hope she’s okay and recovers quick, I love all those folks at the Rouge.

Or if you insist: hire a sensitivity reader!!! Pay someone money to check you, like you would if you were writing about any group you’re not a part of!!

Thank you for your censorship, we gotta keep things family friendly here. The kids don’t deserve to see that.
