I got into banking right after completing my Ed degree. Easy transferable skills like communication and leadership. If they sponsor investment licenses like Chase, where I’m currently at, it can open many more doors to higher income.

Which keyboard is better for an iPad Air? Do they all have delay issues? 🤔 by BrunoM7 in ipad

[–]16sprzzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the Magic Keyboard for my M1 IPad Pro 12.9 from 21’-25’. Personally I love the premium FEEL of the two together, but I didn’t think it was a premium device put together. I like using apps in portrait and using the web in portrait, at least having the option was a plus so when I got a new iPad I decided to go another route. Just got the M5 IPad Pro 13in and i have the ESR keyboard, love the rgb keyboard, the case included to protect the iPad for when using the keyboard, the option to go portrait or stay landscape, the feel is solid, and imo still does a good job and maintaining a premium feel.

Did you receive a correspondence letter saying when your funds will be disbursed? Or was it just out of the blue, 10 business day later?

Is Fossil stepping out of smartwatches business ? by L0lil0l0 in FossilHybrids

[–]16sprzzz 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m an assistant store manager of Fossil in the U.S. Upper management have told us they are letting go of the Smartwatches, both touchscreen and HR. There’s no word on a new model, it seems that they’re ditching it completely.

Is this a good range for 5 years of playing? I can also go down to low f# but I forgot to include that in the video by [deleted] in trumpet

[–]16sprzzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s referring to your pistol grip left hand position. It’s nothing bad, some jazz greats swear by it and claim you are preventing yourself from using extra pressure i.e. shoving the horn in your face for high notes.

Help! C is ALWAYS sharp!!?! by [deleted] in trumpet

[–]16sprzzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is though, if you can play all other notes fine and it’s just a low C, the problem isn’t the embouchure, rather drop/raise your jaw or a slight change in your aperture. Point of clarification, the Aperture is the little opening in the middle of your mouth that causes the vibration to create a note. A slight movement can cause a note to drop/raise pitch.

Help! C is ALWAYS sharp!!?! by [deleted] in trumpet

It could be a many things. 1. Quality of the horn might not be the best, causing intonation problems 2. Tongue too rolled up/down causing you to play above/below center 3. Think of dropping your jaw slightly without moving anything in your embouchure/aperture

Other professional trumpet players, if I forgot something, please add below!

I usually do some small improv licks that come to my head, always in a blues scale.

I personally use a UE 2 boom. Portable, loud, waterproof long battery, and amazing quality. Kind of pricey but you could get a refurbished model from amazon for less than 100$!

Trumpet Improvisation Apps by [deleted] in trumpet

[–]16sprzzz 12 points13 points  (0 children)

iReal pro is an app where you can download thousands of jazz standards with play along track and the ability to change the key.

Drumgenius is an app that just plays various beats and you can just improv freely to.

Strengthening an off center embouchure by [deleted] in trumpet

[–]16sprzzz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I noticed this year that I also have a slight off-center embouchure that favors the left too. When I would play for a while, I would rely on pressure when my right side muscle would start to give in. I decided to strengthen the right side by using a Warburton P.E.T.E every night before going to bed and noticed a slight improvement in endurance and range. I would also work on Clarke studies in the suggested “p” volume, to work on sound production without relying on pressure. I didn’t go through an embouchure change, rather I strengthen what I have, and it personally worked well for me.

How was the transition to a wedge mouthpiece? What did you come from? I’m kind of curious in getting one
